Daridel is a paganfolk band from Northern Italy, born in 2018 and formed by six musicians.
From the delicate harp and flute sounds of the debut album "Forest Folk" in 2019, moving through tribal tones of bagpipes and percussion later that same year with the album "PaganRoots", to achieving a richer, more cinematic identity with their latest work "Of This Blood" in 2023, establishing themselves as one of the most influential bands in the European pagan folk scene.
Since 2019: 3 albums released, over 10 singles, and thousands of shows across Europe, the United States, and the Arabian Peninsula on the biggest stages of the scene.
We built a dream: bringing our music beyond Italy’s borders. Since 2018, we have had the opportunity to take part each year in a rich program of events giving our path the chance to continue.

A passion for the ancient, a visceral love for nature, and the desire to write music have created this incredible universe we call Daridel :
Guided and linked not only by music but by ideals, actions and their lifestyle, our musicians let nature sing through their instruments, from Spring-like quiet to the impetus of the cold winter winds.
Different instruments meet to create new sounds, tribal rhythms merge with sweet melodies.
Flutes and harps tell stories of fairies and elves.
Fierce bagpipes sing along with the voice of the hurdy-gurdy.
Huge drums to make spirits dance.
Bones are rattling, wood sparkling, horns are howling in a frenetic chant of Nature.
It's a neverending cycle of death and rebirth, of gentle and aggressive sounds that come together in a macabre hymn to life.
It's a journey among arcane and forgotten sounds, ancient instruments; a walk across centuries of darkness and light in the Europe of paganism.
A tribal music contaminated by medieval sounds and by what we commonly call Celtic music, which bring our wildest self to the surface.
"It's a primitive call, it's the call of the Earth... the call of Nature."
